Promoting
NFRA’s primary mission is “To Promote the Sales and Consumption of Frozen and Refrigerated Foods,” and the Association has been a leader in implementing and executing successful national promotions for over 25 years.
NFRA’s annual national promotions include:
- March National Frozen Food Month
- June Dairy Month
- June/July Summer Favorites Ice Cream & Novelties promotion
- October Cool Food for Kids educational outreach program
NFRA provides a national platform around these annual promotions with advertising, sweepstakes, media releases, a consumer newsletter and more. NFRA encourages its members to build on this national attention with in-store promotions. NFRA provides many year-round resources to help members promote frozen and refrigerated foods to the consumer.
- Annual Planning Calendar – provides year-round promotional ideas and resources and highlights NFRA’s key annual promotions.
- Year-round Point of Sale – point of purchase materials “Warm Up the Aisles” and keep the innovative products and key messages in front of consumers every month of the year.
- Consumer Media Initiatives – national print and radio releases garner millions of impressions and reach consumers with key messages, recipes and meal solution ideas.
- Stay Cool Newsletter – consumer e-newsletter features recipe and meal solution ideas ad supports ongoing NFRA promotions.
- EasyHomeMeals.com – consumer website is home to promotional sweepstakes, frozen and refrigerated food recipes and tips, healthy lifestyle information and online coupons.
