National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) and Warner Home Video Team Up to Promote Frozen Foods with Happy Feet on DVD Harrisburg, PA – The stars of Warner Bros. family hit film Happy Feet are being tapped by the National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) to jazz up their hot, new promotion… “Tap Into Frozen”. You’ll get much more than a song and dance from the cool characters in the film who’ll be lending their support to the (NFRA) celebration of Frozen Food Month in March 2007. This “cool” pairing between Warner Home Video and NFRA will help retailers create fun promotions that highlight the benefits and convenience of frozen foods. “The Happy Feet characters lend a sense of fun to the frozen food message,” said Nevin Montgomery, President of the NFRA. “We offer insights into the advantages of frozen food. And cool characters like the penguins from Happy Feet allow us to share this information in a compelling way.” Happy Feet will be available from Warner Home Video on DVD March 27th. The March Frozen Food Month promotion is just one element of NFRA’s year-round marketing/PR campaign, “Frozen Foods – Fresh Ideas. Great Taste.” Leveraging the Happy Feet characters in the frozen food aisles helps support the campaign’s goals of bringing more shoppers into the frozen food aisles, changing consumer attitudes about frozen foods and increasing sales across all product lines. Customized marketing programs are being developed by Mars Advertising.
