Shrimp and Cheese Grits

1 c. grits
4 c. water
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp butter
1 box frozen garlic & herb grilled and marinated shrimp
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped scallions

Steps
1 - In a saucepan, place water, salt and butter and bring to a boil.
2 - Slowly stir in the grits.
3 - Cook over medium heat.
4 - After about 15 minutes, fold in the shrimp and cheese.
5 - Continue to cook approximately 5 more minutes or until shrimp is cooked through.
6 - Just before serving fold in the scallions.
