| Toffee
Topped Biscuit Courtesy of Rhodes Bake-N-Serve 6 frozen buttermilk biscuits, baked 2 cups whipping cream, divided 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 toffee candy bar, crushed In medium saucepan, combine 2/3 cup cream, 3/4 cup sugar and the butter. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Mixture will thicken and darken in color. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Wisk in 2/3 cup cream and then heat on medium-low, stirring until smooth.Whip remaining 2/3 cup cream with 1 tablespoon sugar. To serve, split a biscuit in half and cover both halves with whipped cream. Pour warm toffee sauce over the top and sprinkle with bits of toffee candy. Finish with a dollop of cream.
