NFRA Past Chairman Rosemary Driebe Olofsson to be Inducted into the 2005 Frozen Food Hall of Fame


NFRA Past Chairman Rosemary Driebe Olofsson will be one of three new inductees into the Distinguished Order of Zerocrats’ Frozen Food Hall of Fame. Rosemary is the Executive Vice President of Pocono Produce Co., Inc. in Stroudsburg, PA, a broadline foodservice distributor.

Rosemary has served on the NFRA Board of Directors since 1990, first on the Foodservice Council, as the Co-chairman of the Convention Committee and then in the Officer positions as Secretary and Chairman-Elect. She served as Chairman from 1997-1998 and currently is still active on the Past Chairman’s Council. She is a member of the Distinguished Order of Zerocrats and the Honorable Order of Golden Penguins.

Also being inducted are the late James O. Tankersley of The Pictsweet Company and Earl Smittcamp of Wawona Frozen Foods. A gala reception will precede the induction ceremony on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco in San Francisco, California.

The Distinguished Order of Zerocrats, an organization of industry members whose purpose is to maintain the tradition of promoting the image and advancement of the frozen food industry, established the Frozen Food Hall of Fame in 1990, to honor those whose dedication and hard work have greatly benefited the industry. Every year, the frozen food industry honors those individuals whose imagination and innovation have ensured the success of the frozen food industry.
