2006 Frozen Food Industry Hall of Fame Inductees Are Named
At the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Convention in October, four individuals will be honored as the 2006 Hall of Fame inductees: James H. Childers, retired Executive Vice President of Winn-Dixie Supermarkets and former Chairman of NFRA; Jack H. Gunn, Jr., President of Associated Grocers, Inc. and former NFRA Chairman; the late F. Gilbert Lamb, founder of Lamb-Weston; and Frederick R. Ruiz, founder and Chairman of Ruiz Foods. Look for the personal stories of these great industry contributors in the Convention Preview magazine to be distributed in August.

Wynn will be responsible for all Sales & Marketing operations for the company and its membership base. Wynn has over 35 years of experience in the foodservice industry.

R.A. Jones & Co. Inc. recently announced the promotion of Travis Younger to National Account Manager for the foods industry. In his new position, Younger will manage sales for various food accounts such as Quaker Oats and RalCorp, and will also have regional accounts in the US, Mexico and Brazil. Younger previously worked as a Technical Manager for R.A. Jones & Co. Inc.’s After Market Business Unit.

Produce for Better Health Foundation recently partnered with Wal-Mart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets to celebrate the opening of the new DreamWorks movie, “Over the Hedge”.
